Independent Dyno Testing
By Known Mustang Shops And Tuners

Below are common average "Peak" gains to be expected and dyno proven over the factory air intake system when using our intakes. You may notice that on the dyno graphs below that the "Maximum" gain at certain RPMS may be as much as 50% more gain than listed below.

3.8 V6 with filter:
+ 9-11 rwhp,+ 8-13 ft. lb. torque (meter forward)
+10-12 rwhp, +10-15 lb. torque (full system)

5.0 V8 with filter:
+ 6-10 rwhp, +10-13 ft. lb. torque (full system)

4.6 2V with filter:
+8-10 rwhp, + 6-10 ft. lb. torque (meter forward)
+11-13 rwhp, + 9-15 Ft. lb. torque (full system)

4.6 4V NON SC:
+8-10 rwhp,+ 6-10 ft. lb. torque (meter forward)
+11-13 rwhp,+ 12-15 ft. lb. torque (full system)

'03 SC Cobra:
+22-25 rwhp, + 13-15 ft.lb. torque (meter forward)

05 - 08 GT:
+21-28 rwhp, + 19-26 rwtq

05 - 08 V6:
+20-25 rwhp, + 15-20 rwtq

TRACK TIMES:  (Typical Reductions in 1/4 Track Times)
3.8 = +.15
5.0 = +.10
4.6 2V = +.15
4.6 4V = +.10 - +.20
4.6 3V = +.2 - +.3
4.0 V6 = +.2

2005 GT system STOCK vs. TI CAI tuned with Diablosport by Unique Tuning

SRT8 Challenger STOCK (W/Catback) VS TI CAI **NO TUNE** Just as a bolt on, DynoJet Gains

2007 Mustang V6

STOCK (W/Catback) VS TI CAI Tuned with Diablosport by Unique Tuning

This is an independent dyno session of our production 05/09 GT system (not shootout prototype) versus the JLT 2 production system (also not the shootout system) provided by Fastlane Motorsports

This GT posted 258.6 rwhp and 280.4 rwtq. (STOCK)
(JLT 2 CAI was installed on run 002)
(Demolet Tunable Induction CAI installed on run 003)

Our production system posted +2 rwhp and +2 rwtq over the JLT 2 CAI.

2005/2009 V6 system provided by http://bamachips.com/

Doug @ BamaChips:

"All I can say is WOW!!...We made some great numbers with this kit. In stock trim it made 176rwhp and 198 rwtq. The car in stock trim with my 87 Performance tune made 188 rwhp and 218 rwtq. With the 87 tune and the Demolet air intake we made 195 rwhp and 219 rwtq. That is absolutely nuts with an automatic V6!"

With +18.88 rwhp and +20.16 rwtq, These are the biggest gains on the market, and you'll retain these gains as the summer heat builds up with our high quality carbon fiber and polycarbonate materials

Dyno test on a Blown Saleen of the # 4 system with the 75mm Dragon TB only.
This combo picked up +25.97 RWHP! The customer also noted that his boost had increased by +1lb.
'This system fits all the Saleen & Roush Mustangs and is the
DEFINITIVE BLOWER MOTOR MODIFICATION.  NO FURTHER TUNE NEEDED
was also noted by this customer.

This is How our 3.8L 1999-2004 System Performs

Before and after Dynoruns of a 3.8 adding a Full Length System

Before run: 3.8 v6 with stock air system, 98*F temp in dyno room
After run: 3.8 v6 with Full Length System, 98*F temp in dyno room
That's 12.5 RWHP and 14.8ftlbs of torque! This is an independent test.

The dyno testing results of our 03-04 Cobra system in the UTI Shootout demonstrates how the tunablity of our system affects horsepower and torque.

This is the same 5.0 Magazine stock 03 Cobra shootout winning system.

The system made more power in the down position, which can be argued as far as accuracy for two reasons, the first being the air closer to the floor in the dyno cell was colder and secondly, the car had always made less power on second dyno pulls all day. In the “up” position the car made 371.05 HP and 365.12 lb/ft of torque. This is an improvement of 19.68 HP and a gain of 5.83 lb/ft of TQ. In the “down” position, the car tested at 376.85 HP & 372.24 lb/ft of TQ. This is a gain of 25.48 HP and 12.58 lb/ft of TQ. Air fuel ratio stayed safe and below 12.5 for the entire run after the PCM went into WOT strategy.

The tunable aspect of our systems will elicit changes in horsepower and torque for each application. The gains will vary for blower and naturally aspirated motors. The two-bend filter positioning will not adversely affect meter calibration or A/F ratios.

This is a dyno session by MotorTech Mag comparing our #1 89-93 full 5.0 with the stock factory system and meter

Pictured above, our system is denoted in red while the stock is depicted in blue. Our 5.0 system shows a 10.8 rwhp, 4 ft.lb. rwtq. increase.(down filter position, up position not tested)
